this morning. The former freshmen were four of 83 student athletes from UK to receive the honor, the second most of any SEC school. To make the honor roll, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
So all four UK freshmen made the SEC All-Freshman Team AND the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll. All while helping their team to a 38-1 record and the Final Four. And three of them just got drafted in the lottery.
Yeah, that 2014 class ended up being pretty awesome.
