You may have noticed that John Calipari was one of the few college coaches in attendance at last Thursday’s NBA Draft. In fact, he was probably the only college coach at the draft. That’s become a familiar sight during his tenure at Kentucky, but tonight, Cal put out a post on his site explaining why he goes to the draft every year.
I’m at the draft because this is the culmination of a whole lot of work and a whole lot of dreaming. It’s almost like it’s graduation day.
