Kent State's men's and women's track and field programs make their way to Ypsilanti, Mich. this weekend to contest for the Indoor MAC Championships hosted by Eastern Michigan. Action from Bowen Fieldhouse gets underway Friday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m.
FLASHBACK TO THE 2016 MAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
At last year's MAC Championships, hosted by the Akron, Kent State's men's and women's programs each came away with third place finishes. The women's championship went to Eastern Michigan who scored a total of 127 points and the men's championship went the Zips who scored 145.50 points.
Four former Golden Flashes claimed individual event titles last year in William Barnes (200m dash, 60m hurdles), Roosevelt Dotson (high jump), Roseanne Erickson (long jump) and Donavan Tolbert (triple jump).
