Leon Takagi and Hester Sicking put up top ten finishes for the Kent State women's golf team at The Bruzzy tournament this weekend, each tying for 10th among the 72 golfer field.
After getting off to a slow start with a first round 75, Takagi shot even par the rest of the way putting in seven birdies over the final 36 holes.
The result was the second straight and fifth top ten finish of the season for Takagi, and her seventh finish in the top 20 in nine total tournaments. Takagi tied for 2nd among all golfers on par four's, shooting two under.
