WILMINGTON- Freshman Dom Kibler had a pair of doubles and two runs driven in but it wasn't enough as the host Seahawks rallied late to take the finale of the season-opening series, 8-3 on Sunday afternoon.
Kibler scored the game's first run in the third following his first double of the game and his double in the sixth plated a pair and gave the Flashes the lead. However, the Seahawks rallied to tie the game in the seventh, then broke it open with a five-run eighth to take the rubber match.
Calvin Bickerstaff was solid in his first collegiate start.
