BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Kylie Ringler continued a tremendous start to her freshman campaign and tossed the fifth perfect game in school history as Kent State beat Howard, 8-0, in its final game at the Camel Stampede on Saturday. The Golden Flashes lost to host Campbell, 3-0, earlier in the day.
Ringler retired all 15 batters she faced in just her second collegiate start and has not allowed a run in 12.1 innings this season.
Fellow freshmen Delaney Robeson and Savannah Wing both went 2-for-4 at the plate and had a stolen base on the day.
