SUGAR GROVE, Ill. – The No. 11 Kent State University men's golf team is through day two of the 2017 NCAA National Championship and sophomore Bjarki Petursson is making a run at the individual title.
On Saturday, the Flashes finished the last half of round one and played all of round two. In that time, Petursson has broken out as one of the top performers in the field. He will enter round three tied for second at 7-under par 137. The sophomore has been consistent from start to finish, posting a 68 in round one and a 69 in round two.
