DALLAS – The No. 20 Kent State men's golf team is through two rounds of the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate at the par-71 Royal Oaks Country Club, currently in fourth overall at five-over par 715 (353-362).
The Flashes are in a tight field at the top of the standings. Although No. 13 Baylor, the tournament hosts, has built a 29-stroke lead, the next six teams are separated by six strokes. Kent State trails second-place New Mexico by three strokes with 18 holes remaining Tuesday.
