Men's Golf In Title Hunt at Maui Jim Intercollegiate

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State University men's golf team will compete for the Maui Jim Intercollegiate title Sunday after a strong second round showing Saturday in Scottsdale, Arizona.

After breaking the program record for the lowest round Friday, The Golden Flashes stayed in contention with a round two score of 279. The Golden Flashes are currently in second place at a 25-under par 543. They trail No. 8 LSU by two strokes.

Entering the day in second place, Ian Holt had a stellar start Saturday and emerged as the leader on his squad.
