SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The Kent State University men's golf team finished third overall at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate in Scottsdale, Arizona with a score of 24-under par 828 (264-279-285).
The third-place finish is the team's second consecutive top-five finish against some of the best competition in the country. Kent State also finished ahead of multiple nationally ranked teams for the second time in as many tournaments. No. 8 LSU won the tournament at 41-under par 811.
Ian Holt led Kent State, finishing seventh with a three-round score of eight-under par 205. He shot a 70 Sunday for his third straight round under par.
