KENT, Ohio – The Kent State gymnastics team will send four individuals to NCAA Regionals this year, which are set to be conducted from on Wednesday, March 30 through Saturday, April 2 at Auburn University in Alabama. The four gymnasts representing the Golden Flashes at Regionals are junior Rachel DeCavitch, junior Karlie Franz, freshman Alyssa Guns, and sophomore Sarah Haxton. Haxton will compete on the uneven bars, Guns and Franz on floor, and DeCavitch on all-around.
Kent State finished the season ranked 41st in the country, narrowly missing an NCAA Regionals appearance as a team.
