KENT- The Kent State Golden Flashes rank atop the Mid-American Conference in a five-year snapshot of the Learfield Director's Cup, a measure of department-wide success.

Over the last five years, the Golden Flashes have totaled 939 Director's Cup points, clearing the nearest conference rival by over 50 points. In the "Group of Five", that mark would also top Conference USA, place second in the Sun Belt and fourth in the American and Big East.

The Director's Cup awards points based on an institution's finish in the NCAA championships (except for FBS football).

"Our Play as One Strategic Plan emphasizes a vision to be recognized as a comprehensive athletics program that inspires communities and transforms lives," Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Randale L.
