KENT- The Golden Flashes placed six wrestlers on the Academic All-MAC Team, the conference announced on Wednesday afternoon.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for student-athletes who have excelled in the classroom and on the wrestling mat. To qualify, a student athlete must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA, be of sophomore standing or higher and participated in 50 percent or more of the contests during the wrestling season. First-year transfer student-athletes are not eligible for the honor. The full list of the Kent State honorees is below:
