The Kent State Men's and Women's track and field teams will compete at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational and the Northeast Ohio Open in Miami, Fla., and Akron, respectively. A group of combined event athletes and jumpers will head to Florida, while the rest of the team will make the short trip to the school down the road. Both meets are set to begin Friday and conclude Saturday.
HURRICANE ALUMNI INVITATIONAL:
Ayden Bath will compete in the decathlon and Alexandre Malanda will triple jump. For the women, graduate student Lillie Franks will compete in the high jump while Matilde Carboncini, Shelby Grover, and Svenia DeConinck will compete in the heptathlon.
