KOHLER, Wis. –Kent State's 2015-16 season came to an end Wednesday during the final round of the Kohler NCAA Regional. Sophomore Ian Holt (Stow, Ohio) led the way for the Golden Flashes at the Meadow Valleys Course at Blackwolf Run, with a 3-under 69 in his final round and a 3-under 213 for the tournament.
Holt finished in a tie for fifth place after notching four birdies Wednesday. Only one player not on the top five teams finished ahead of him to earn the individual bid at the NCAA Championships.
