KENT – The Kent State women claimed three event victories at the Northeast Ohio Open and Ayden Bath earned a spot on the all-time top-10 list in the decathlon at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational as the Kent State track and field teams closed out another week of successful split-squad action.
On Friday, the throwers competed at the Northeast Ohio Open in the Rubber City. Grace Luther claimed her first victory of the outdoor season in the hammer throw with a toss of 179' 3". That success continued into Saturday as Kyla Taress earned her second victory of the season in the pole vault clearing 11' 9.
