The Zac Brown Band will hold a Sept. 10 concert at Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan, bringing the Kansas State football stadium its first concert since Willie Nelson appeared in 1987.
K-State officials announced the Southern country concert at a Thursday afternoon news conference.
Zac Brown Band has won three Grammy Awards and has had hits including “Country Fried,” “Homegrown,” “Knee Deep” and “Colder Weather.” Train will preceed Zac Brown Band.
The band appeared at Wichita’s Intrust Bank Arena on April 2 and is scheduled to appear in Kansas City’s Sprint Center on May 27. The band is on its “Jekyll and Hyde” tour.
