MANHATTAN — Xavier Sneed proved to himself and his Kansas State basketball teammates that he will be a factor in his freshman season.
Sneed was highly-regarded as a four-star prospect in the K-State recruiting class, and on the Wildcats’ recent exhibition tour of Italy and Switzerland the 6-foot-5 forward from St. Louis put his skill and toughness on display.
“He has a high motor,” senior Wesley Iwundu said of Sneed. “He can do pretty much everything coach asks him to do. He brings a lot of athleticism on the defensive and offensive ends. He’ll be a big help to us.
