Wildcats rout Missouri State in storm

Kansas State battled Missouri State, rain and storm delays on Saturday.

But the result was the same from the previous week, with the Wildcats rolling to a 35-0 win at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in a rain-shortened two-quarter game.

K-State coach Bill Snyder said he wanted to play the second half, but the forecast called for severe weather to continue into the night.

“(Missouri State) Coach (Dave) Steckel was also wanting to do so,” Snyder said. “I wanted our guys, because we have a lot of guys that are twos, threes, I wanted them to get in the ball game.
