2016 K-STATE FOOTBALL RECRUITING CLASS

A greyshirt who played at Shawnee Mission East, Ball signed with K-State out of high school in 2015 and is already enrolled. Ball was one of the top DL in the state as a senior, helping the Lancers to an undefeated season and a state title in 2014. He had 118 tackles and 10 sacks.

Barta is the son of former K-State linebacker Brooks Barta and grandson of Roger Barta, longtime football coach at Smith Center.
