The biggest problem with running this site in the summer has always been a lack of news. The Slate suffers because we’re basically at the mercy of whether or not something completely random happens or someone suddenly decides to write about Kansas State Wildcats.
It’s been even worse this summer, as COVID-19 has wreaked havoc on everything. Often, your benevolent despot is stuck with nothing to share with you after wildcat00 does her usual excellent job over the weekend, because... well, it’s the summer, and it’s the weekend.
