Offensive assistant leaving for Rutgers

Kansas State football assistant director of recruiting and offensive quality control coach Scotty O’Hara announced on Twitter on Monday night that he is leaving Manhattan to take a similar position at Rutgers University.

O’Hara’s tweet stated, “Proud to be a Scarlet Knight!” and his Twitter bio says that he is Rutgers football offensive quality control. However, K-State has not announced his departure, and Rutgers has not announced O’Hara’s hiring or position within the team.

O’Hara is the second Wildcat over the past several months who has left for another job in Piscataway, New Jersey, after associate athletics director Jerry Kill left his position to take over as the offensive coordinator at Rutgers in December.
