With his thinning white hair and erudite air, Bill Snyder looks like a bespectacled Kansas State professor emeritus.
Entering his 24th year as the Wildcats’ head coach, Snyder is old enough to be the grandfather of the football players he coaches.
Despite his age difference, Snyder still relates well to the current generation of players. Senior offensive lineman Cody Whitehair grew up in Abilene, Kan., and is thankful for the chance to play for him.
