Stanton Weber has been attending Catbacker events for as long as he can remember and has seen the impact of the Kansas State booster organization from the perspective of a fan and a student-athlete.
Weber grew up a K-State fan, the son of former Wildcat quarterback and current team broadcaster Stan Weber. Stanton walked on to the K-State football team, and now he is preparing for his senior season as a scholarship player and special teams captain. Any chance he gets to mingle with Wildcat fans, such as the 33rd annual Topeka Area Catbackers BBQ and Auction on Wednesday at the Kansas Expocentre, is a positive part of his student-athlete experience.
