K-State track finishes off Tyson Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Kansas State track and field team closed out the Tyson Invitational with a spark as it saw six more athletes record personal bests with one school record on Saturday.

Overall, the Wildcats saw 10 athletes record PRs over the weekend at both the Tyson Invitational and Iowa State Classic, as well as three first-place finishes and a school record being broken in the men’s 200 meter dash.

After making the semis in Friday night’s 60-meter dash, sophomore sprinter Terrell Smith set a new school record and a personal best in the 200-meter dash invitational with a time of 20.
