After some bumps in the road during his past, Byron Pringle appears poised to seize his opportunity to be an impact player at Kansas State, writes Kellis Robinett of the Wichita Eagle.
Pringle has a criminal past so Wildcats coach Bill Snyder insisted on spending time with the 22-year-old junior college transfer before bringing him to Manhattan, Kansas.
"It took a long time to make a decision to have him here," Snyder told Robinett. "People get irritated with me about that, but I needed to sit down with him and spend time with him. It was that simple.
