It has been a busy week, especially in Western Kansas as the 2015 Summer Catbacker Tour kicked off Monday in Dodge City and continues today in Colby before concluding tomorrow in Hays. It is great to see the passion of K-Staters across the state, and I am reminded each year what a special and unique tradition these events are each summer. We had another huge crowd in Scott City last night, which roared with applause when we announced the final score of our baseball team's Big 12 Tournament first-round upset over the Sooners as we began the program.
