Kansas State will add Michael Bishop, Jordy Nelson, Darren Sproles and Clarence Scott to football Ring of Honor

The newest class of Kansas State’s football Ring of Honor members is a star-studded group.

Michael Bishop, Jordy Nelson, Clarence Scott and Darren Sproles will have their names permanently affixed to Bill Snyder Family Stadium during a halftime ceremony at the Wildcats’ season opener against South Dakota on Sept. 5, the university announced Thursday. The Ring of Honor currently has 10 members.

Bishop, Nelson and Sproles are among the best players to play for Snyder.

Bishop, a former quarterback, guided the Wildcats to their first No. 1 ranking as a senior in 1998. He played two seasons for K-State after transferring in from junior college, going 22-3 as a starter.
