Jones, Meeks part ways wtih K-State

MANHATTAN — Kansas State announced that former junior college transfers Ashley Jones and Deborah Meeks would be parting ways with the women’s basketball program after just one season.

Meeks will graduate this May and look to earn a graduate degree in nursing. As a junior, Meeks played in 29 games for K-State averaging just under three points per game. On December 20th, she scored a career-high 16 points against Grambling State.

After playing in 23 games for K-State last season, Ashley Jones is transferring to Central Missouri to finish her collegiate career. The junior who was the final addition on last season’s roster averaged 2.
