LAWRENCE — The early start to unlimited practices is already paying off for the KU basketball team.
Just ask freshman Lagerald Vick.
“Frank (Mason), I’ll mess up on a play, he’ll uplift me, and Devonte’ (Graham) will just tell me the right places to go,” Vick said this week. “Then Wayne (Selden) will just step in and he’ll show me what to do. He just gives me a better vision of what I already know.
“It’s a huge blessing to be around them."
But as the Jayhawks get ready for the World University Games, could there also be a drawback to the early grind?
