LAWRENCE — For all intents and purposes, David Beaty may have notched his first win with KU months before his first game on the sidelines for the Jayhawks.
The consensus is the KU football coach nailed his Big 12 football media days appearance Monday in Dallas, managing to balance positivity and self-deprecating humor in his first ever appearance at the event.
"Like all teams that are going to come before you today, we have high expectations," Beaty said Monday. "And with those high expectations are going to come high standards."
