LAWRENCE — The contents of the tweet weren’t altogether surprising.
Where it showed up, however, was quite jarring.
Sometime before the No. 2-ranked Kansas basketball team huddled for a timeout, nursing a nine-point lead with just over six minutes left to play in Saturday’s game against Texas, Twitter user @kcbamburger sent out a tweet that reached a much larger audience than his 46 followers on the social media platform.
The critical tweet, lamenting the Jayhawks’ offensive game plan, was displayed on the Allen Fieldhouse video board for the 16,300 in attendance to see.
