KU women drop 83-68 decision at TCU

FORT WORTH, Texas — The Kansas women’s basketball team dropped its eighth straight game and remained winless in Big 12 play with an 83-68 loss on Sunday at TCU.

Kansas, now 6-13 overall and 0-8 in the Big 12, was within three of the Horned Frogs at halftime (37-34) but the Jayhawks were outscored 15-5 in the third quarter and KU never got closer than 10 points of TCU in the fourth.

Jessica Washington led KU with 19 points while Kylee Kopatich and McKenzie Calvert each had 10 points for the Jayhawks.

A.J. Alix led four TCU players in double figures with 22 points and Jordan Moore had a double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds as the Horned Frogs improved to 10-9 overall and 2-6 in the Big 12.
