KU falls to Rutgers, 27-14, in ‘Worst Game Ever’

At times on Saturday, it felt as if a group of guys had gathered to lob a greased-up watermelon around the confines of a swimming pool.

In a football game that was neither aesthetically pleasing nor that dramatic, Rutgers built a 20-7 halftime lead over Kansas as two woebegone programs slugged it out inside Hight Point Solutions Stadium.
