This is the end.

On a chilly and rainy Saturday afternoon, Kansas trailed K-State 35-7 at halftime, falling ever closer to the program’s first winless season since 1954. The Jayhawks, 0-11, finished with just 136 total yards and 67 passing yards in the opening 30 minutes.

Kansas trailed 28-7 after the end of the first quarter. Kansas freshman quarterback Ryan Willis completed just 7 of 16 passes for 67 yards as the Jayhawks finished the half with nine first downs.

The Jayhawks’ lone touchdown came on a 27-yard touchdown throw from Willis to receiver Tre’ Parmalee with 11:15 remaining in the first quarter.
