Awful shooting, poor rebounding, and a terrible offensive gameplan by Kansas saw the Oregon Ducks absolutely embarrass the Jayhawks in their own backyard in Kansas City.
Oregon shot a ridiculous 60.0% from the field in the first half, and didn’t cool down much in the second half, finishing the game with an overall shooting percentage of 50.9% from the floor.
This game was close for about the first 15 minutes, but don’t kid yourself, Kansas never had a chance in the second half, trailing by double digits almost the entire half.
Kansas, meanwhile, embarrassingly thought it would be a good idea to completely abandon what got them a 1-seed (three point shooting) and embarrassingly pound the ball down low to Landen Lucas early and often.
