But, after we had heard some info yesterday indicating that Kansas was possibly going to be his destination, a report came out today that Allen is down to Houston and Texas. Last week, we wrote about Allen and said Texas was the probable destination. And while I did end up changing that crystal ball pick yesterday evening, it looks like that info I got didn’t pan out.
Allen, who hails from St. Stephen’s Episcopal in Austin (TX), is a forwardcenter that is an excellent shot-blocker. He would have been an immediate backup to either Carlton Bragg or Landen Lucas here at Kansas, but will probably be a starter for Texas or Houston.
