Jayhawks' Cheick Diallo signs three-year deal with New Orleans Pelicans

After a strong showing in the NBA Summer League, former Kansas forward Cheick Diallo signed a three-year deal with the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday.

According to The Associated Press, the second-round pick’s contract is for the NBA minimum with a team option in the third season and could be worth about $2.5 million if Diallo plays through the end of the contract.
