KU basketball's Maui Invitational schedule released

Kansas will open with Division II Chaminade in the upcoming Maui Invitational, ESPN's Andy Katz reported Monday.

If KU wins, it will advance to face the winner of UNLV-UCLA. Indiana, Wake Forest, St. John's and Vanderbilt are on the other side of the bracket.

KU finished in second place the last time it played in the Maui Invite, defeating Georgetown and UCLA before losing to Duke in the finals in 2011.

KU's last matchup against host Chaminade was a blowout; the Jayhawks defeated the Silverswords, 102-54, in the seventh-place game of the 2005 Maui Invitational.

This year's tournament takes place from Nov.
