Kansas basketball fans can officially set their schedules — and their alarm clocks — for the Jayhawks' trip to the upcoming World University Games.
The tournament released its pool play schedule Friday, and KU will open with Turkey at 10 p.m. central time on July 3.
It's not the only wacky tipoff time for fans back in the States. KU will continue pool play against Brazil on July 5 (6:30 a.m. central), Chile on July 7 (12:30 a.m.), Serbia on July 7 (10 p.m.) and Switzerland on July 8 (8 p.m.).
Following pool play, the top two teams from each pool advance to battle for a medal.
