Quite a bit different list from last years version when names like Kyle Hendrick, Carlos Peguero and Casey Coleman were near the top of the Royals list of call up possibilities. Along with a more talented list, these players should get to contribute a tad more considering the Royals will be thinking about resting some guys just to have the regulars fresh and ready for the playoffs. Just a reminder being on the 40 man roster gives a guy a nod over another possibility.
#1 Terrance Gore – The addition of Ben Zobrist to the roster could mean big things for Gore and his ability to wreak havoc on the bases not only in September but also in October as the Royals could keep him on the playoff roster for just that reason.
