Omaha could not overcome two 4-run innings by Memphis, as they lost 8-7. They had the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the ninth, but Francisco Pena struck out to end the game. The Storm Chasers split the four-game series with the Redbirds and now head to Oklahoma City for four games.
Clayton Mortensen gave up all eight runs on eight hits and four walks over 3.2 innings. Chris Dwyer entered in the 4th inning with two runners on base and stranded both.
