The Royals have recalled catcher Tony Cruz from AAA Omaha and optioned reliever Peter Moylan to Omaha. The move could signal that the Royals only expect catcher Salvador Perez to be out just a few days after he injured himself in the ninth inning of Saturday's game against Chicago. Perez suffered a quad contusion after colliding with third baseman Cheslor Cuthbert on a foul pop up. He is expected to get an MRI done today.
