Cain's hustle gets KC going in Game 5

KANSAS CITY -- After being held scoreless through the first three innings of Game 5 of the American League Division Series on Wednesday, the Royals got on the board in the fourth to make it a 2-1 game, thanks to a pair of singles from Lorenzo Cain and Eric Hosmer.

After Ben Zobrist struck out, Cain singled to right on a check swing on a 3-2 fastball from Astros right-hander Collin McHugh. Hosmer followed with a shallow pop fly to right-center that dropped in front of center fielder Carlos Gomez, who slipped and fell as he fielded the ball to allow Cain to score all the way from first base.
