Scott Alexander blew his second save of the season, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits over two innings. He allowed a game-tying solo home run in the top of the 8th inning to Ryan Roberts (who spent spring training with the KC Royals).
Andy Ferguson returned from the DL to throw three one-hit innings. He struck out five. Buddy Baumann followed and allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks over four innings.
