The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed S Akeem Davis and DT Louis Nix on waivers Monday and signed S Jarrod Harper and DT Kevin Maurice, according to Mike Kaye.
Nix, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Texans back in May of 2014. He was entering the second year of his four-year, $2,852,252 rookie contract when he was among the Texans’ final roster at the start of the 2015 season.
The Giants elected to claim him off of waivers and brought him back on a future/reserve contract.
