Jaguars squander opportunities against Ravens, drop to 0-3

As he jogged off the field and straight into the locker after his final pass of the game, Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles knew had had missed an opportunity to give his team a critical victory.

Again.

The Jaguars came up short despite plenty of opportunities late in Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens and lost 19-17 at EverBank Field.

Justin Tucker connected on a 53-yard field goal with 1:02 remaining in the fourth quarter and Bortles was intercepted by linebacker Zachary Orr on the Jaguars’ final possession to cap a wild finish.

Tucker’s field goal, his fourth of the game, capped a frenetic final few minutes that featured a muffed punt, three interceptions and a blocked field goal attempt.
