Jaguars rookie defensive end Dante Fowler met one of his life’s goals Sunday.
“I saw Tiger Woods,” he said. “I can cross that off the bucket list.”
Fowler, who sustained a season-ending knee injury Friday at rookie minicamp, and the team's other 21 rookies visited the TPC Sawgrass Players Stadium Course for the final round of The Players and experienced first-hand the PGA Tour’s biggest event and its surrounding splendor.
They all took shots at the replica 17th hole at the Stadium Village (none need to quit their day jobs) and then went to the Jaguars' hospitality venue near the 17th tee to watch a few groups go by before leaving for a beach party hosted by the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club.
