Jaguars rookie Neal Sterling moving from Monmouth to NFL

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Monmouth University is a small school in West Long Beach, N.J. Jacksonville Jaguars sixth round pick Neal Sterling has left Monmouth for what most would consider greener pastures in the NFL.

Still, for a the small town Jersey boy, the transition from a small school college player to a professional athlete is an adjustment that may take time. Sterling seems to be handling the process pretty well so far.

"I think I'm starting to fit into this NFL lifestyle," said Sterling after his third session of organized team activities on Thursday.

"Having a college mindset and having an NFL mindset are two completely different things.
