Jaguars Place DBs Josh Johnson & Ezra Robinson On Injured Reserve

The Jacksonville Jaguars officially placed DBs Josh Johnson and Ezra Robinson on injured reserve after clearing waivers on Tuesday.

Johnson, 25, wound up signing on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue back in 2013. However, he lasted just a few months in San Diego before he was released at the start of the 2013 season.

Johnson later signed on with the BC Lions of the CFL in 2014 before joining the Jaguars in February of last year. Jacksonville waived Johnson with an injury designation on Monday.

In 2016, Johnson appeared in eight games and recorded nine tackles, a half sack and a pass defense.
